It was at least 90 today in Long Beach and Irvine, and it's supposed to be hotter tomorrow. This is the classic late summer tropical build-up, with those huge cumulus clouds across the sky. It's just boiling when you get in your car for the drive-time commute.
So, more heat tomorrow. I guess that's better than flooding and displacement, like in Texas, so say a beautiful prayer for your fellow Americans.
