The left’s contempt for the majority of Americans is an indication of its soul. The left has abandoned the principles of universal values at the expense of defending and tolerating the indefensible and the intolerable. I prefer the definition of 'soul' to be singular; a soul being that non-physical part of a human that's still attached to God, and returns to God when the physical body is finished. Dennis means more the left's collective 'spirit' I think. In that context, he nails it.
