Glenn Beck Goes After Van Jones and 'Color of Change'

I'm back to teaching this week, so I wasn't home in time to catch Glenn Beck go on the attack against Van Jones, the co-founder of Color-of-Change (the group boycotting Beck's show on Fox).

Glenn Beck used his popular Fox News show this afternoon to attack the background of Van Jones, a White House environmental advisor who co-founded an African American political advocacy group that organized an advertising boycott of his program.

During his 2 p.m. PDT show, Beck did not address the boycott spearheaded by Color of Change to protest the talk show host’s remark last month that he believes President Obama is “a racist.”

Instead, he spent a large share of his program suggesting that Jones, who co-founded Color of Change in 2005, is a radical. Jones now serves as a special advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

During a six-minute biographical profile, set to ominous music, Beck said Jones was twice arrested for political protests and has described himself as a "rowdy black nationalist." The talk show host cast the piece as part of a broader examination of Obama's "czars," special advisers to the president who "don't answer to anybody."

"Why is it that such a committed revolutionary has made it so high into the Obama administration as one of his chief advisers?" Beck asked.

Here is all the dirt you will ever need on the commie puke who started Color-of-Change, but who is also his newly appointed "Green Jobs" commie-czar:

Why this terrorist-associating punk is not riding a federal prison cell is a question in and of itself, but an even bigger, and perhaps more ominous question is, where the hell were the repubes when this low-life was being appointed to his lofty position by the former community agitator?

I swear, the people, and the congress of this nation, are blind, deaf and dumb.

'Cuz this ain't your country anymore, whitey.

"'Cuz this ain't your country anymore, whitey."

Anonymous, could you elaborate on this a bit?

Whose country is it, now? Pardon my ignorance, but I thought this country belonged to all of us, no matter the color of our skins.

I watched the GB show last night, and it was very enlightening. I just don't understand how people get so upset over hearing the truth about someone, especially when the individual is in a position that could have some bearing on an important aspect of our lives.

The thing that should be of concern, is that a czar, such as Van Jones, does not have to come under any scrutiny, and is responsible to no one but President Obama.

Watching this (obviously) racist, arrogant, self-proclaimed activist/communist in the video clips shown by Mr. Beck, was enough to make my blood run cold, just thinking of what is happening to this country.

My question is, why would Obama even consider putting such a person in any position at all, if, indeed, he is wanting the best for the country that he is now responsible for?

Mr. Beck showed real character in not mentioning that this guy is the driving force behind all the advertisers pulling out of his show.

It seems that if one speaks the truth, especially if it has anything to do with Obama and his administration, he is in dire danger of losing his livlihood--or being driven to distration by being hassled to death by his defenders.

Btw--the administration must really hold this guy in high esteem, considering that they are using a program that he developed and named before, back when he was still just a 'radical black nationalist.'

You know the one: "Cash for Clunkers."

Good luck to all the car dealers who fell for this one. It could be a very long time before those checks arrive at the dealership. If ever.

"I met all these young radical people of color - I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of... I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary...I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th..By August, I was a communist."

glenn beck is a bigot himself, so it's not surprising he's attacking another black. As for those misguided idiots here spewing nonsense about commies and such. At least a commie loves his nation, you don't.

So, Anonymous, Glenn Beck revealed the truth about Van Jones because he is black? Not because it was the truth? The color of one's skin does not change truth, and if Van Jones had been white, red, brown, or any other color, Glenn Beck would have still revealed the truth about the man. It is the truth, as facts bear it out.

"As for those misguided idiots here spewing nonsense about commies and such. At least a commie loves his nation, you don't."

Perhaps you could define the word "love" so we may understand exactly what you mean by that statement.

If you prefer not to answer, I'll certainly understand.
